God, in His sovereignty, has molded and created each child unique, and He has allowed us as parents, family, and the Church to share in that joy. We see in scripture that Jesus embraced children in a culture that often pushed them to the side. God, also, instructs us to teach children and grandchildren of His Word and of His goodness.
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deut 6:4-9
At Grace Baptist Church, we see it as our job to entire support families to help them raise their children to the glory of God. We want to see them supported, trained, and loved so that their faith will far surpass our own and stand strong in a world pushing back against truth.
Sunday Children’s Ministry
Nursery
A safe and caring nursery is provided for infants and toddlers (up to age 3) during our Sunday church services.
Children’s church
Children between the ages of 4 to 9 join the adults in the worship service through the beginning songs, but then are dismissed to a time of worship, learning, and fun.
